A 1- day immersive retreat focused on the healing, connection and liberation of

Black, Indigenous and Women of Color

ABOUT THE RETREAT

When I became a yoga teacher, one of the things on my heart early on was to host a retreat around the weekend of Mother’s Day—a retreat for women to attend to be cared for. To not take on more responsibilities but to be loved and cared for and to rest.

As my life has evolved, I have wanted this space more now than ever and want to make it a space for women. For women who may have a complicated relationship with this day. For women who may be mothers and just want a day for themselves, for women who may have estranged relationships with mothers, women who may be struggling as a mother, women who are trying to conceive, women who may not want to conceive but may feel the pressure to become a mother AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN.

This first retreat will center the voices of the BIPOC community because rarely are there spaces that center the intersectionality of being a Woman of Color and motherhood, and we need to have spaces where we can be vulnerable, be honest, and be together.
